I'm Coming home (Texas)
This Texas spirited poem comes from the heart, I'm From Texas The Best State in America also from the title you can see, I was Inspired by the song Coming Home By Dirty Money Feat Skylar Grey
I'm coming home, its B.H gotta get the words I speak out I'm the best'est poet alive, I'm coming home, tell Texas to get the cannons out because, I'm coming home, efficient, election, George Bush steppin, a new born Beacon coming from Texas, I went through hell for you to see me, my dream, high beam across the writings scene but, the only state I didn't show is my homeland, where I came from, this is for you
Texas. can you hear me now, I'm coming home,
where I go where I stay is so different than the lone star state, yo I wear boots you wear tennis shoes you say cuss words I just say darnit ya'll look at my overalls, don't be alarm about my swaggy look and my farm we're the nicest people on planet earth, but don't come to the bar
what why?
if ya looking for a tussle ya'll gonna get a lickin because were drunk, people in the crowd will yell its a throwdown,
ya'll see tractors on the highway were so radical were farmers, hear us hey hey making a living off of hay hay going to rodeos with our hands up yelling hey hey when an outsider say look at those cows man they're called longhorns they buck not moo you better move if you don't wanna get plowed over they're bigger than mushrooms what the hell does that mean? Texas size pardner
howdy ya'll see alot of double names meet Bobby Ray, Dougie Ray, Mary Ann, Billie john and Danny Jose aye-- its a throw down today ay
We're cowboys, look at our spurs and, horses we spit in jars when cowgirls come around, we rope cattle for fun when I go to another state they say what are you doing sir? I say nicely
its all good I'm a Texan ya'll
I look around theirs not a Texan to be found then say I'm going back to the great lone star state ya'll I'm a Texan bleeding that blue red n white hillbilly blood I'm a, I'm a, Texan drinking that whiskey in the morning rolling thunder in the evening, tumbleweeds blowing side to side in the path of the tornado. never going back die as a Texan, jumping on my horse kicking it low yelling I'm A Texan here we go,
Texas is for me
Texans ride with me suit up, boots on, jeans out, belts tied on-- welcome to the hoedown, its a throw down this is Texas Ya'll-- we don't care if we have mud, spit, rips on our jeans be a man not a drama queen
so the next time you visit Texas,
plan a long trip down to the beautiful Galveston streets to Corpus Christi, Houston to San Antonio visit the Alamo out to the mountains El Paso, cruise by Abilene go through Fort Worth stock yards see a real rodeo if you don't miss Ponder say hi to my Brothers Ex don't wreck your car when you go to the center of Dallas carry on the I-20 through Lewisville to my hometown Denton going up to the red river to go fishing with spurs on our boots a cowboy hat so smooth
Texas is the greatest,
howdy ya'll I wanna stay in Texas the lone star state this is my home farmer from day one, I'm not going to work a day in my life, its so lame
when I hear people leaving Texas for a job in New York state some call it a new beginning, I just say your living the dream already
going to rodeos flirting with cowgirls wearing boots high up to your jeans, belt strapped on put ya'll long sleeve cowboy shirt on and don't forget about that cowboy hat
I guess being cowboys don't mean nothing to you so go but, when you crash and burn
ya'll come back you hear
